This privacy statement discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for www.straphangers.org. This website was created and is managed by the Straphangers Campaign, a project of the New York Public Interest Research Group Fund, NYPIRG.
Your identity and contact information will be treated confidentially and will not be shared.
If you fill out an e-postcard, the Straphangers Campaign will make the information provided, including your opinion and identity, available to relevant public officials, as listed on the e-postcard form.
The names and addresses of those who fill out forms on straphangers.org, are stored in a database. This database may be used for future activities such as action alerts and campaign updates. We do not store the information of those individuals referred through our "Tell-a-Friend" program.
The Straphangers Campaign will not sell or give away any personal information you provide (such as your name or contact information), nor will it make available your information to any outside organization without your express consent.
