As New York City marks the centennial of its subway, this exhibit tells the story of how riders saved city transit over the last 25 years. Where would our citys subways and buses be without the riders? Not just as customers paying the fares and filling the seats, but as advocates for better transit. The riders moved mountains and even harder governors, mayors, legislators, and transit officials to help create the change that continues today. |
